Amersfoort, 2024 – Brunotti, a leading brand in the global boardsports and outdoor lifestyle industry, is entering an exciting new chapter. Jeroen van der Wind (CEO) and Sven Bleekemolen (CCO) take over Brunotti from Henk Bergsma (CEO) and Peter Dijkema (Commercial Director). This transition marks the next phase for Brunotti, building on its strong foundation and positioning it for further growth.

Since 1996, Henk Bergsma and later also Peter Dijkema have led Brunotti, growing it into a well-established name with an extensive distribution network across Europe. "We’re excited to continue to build on Brunotti’s success story," said van der Wind. "The trust and legacy built will guide us as we step into new markets and opportunities."

As part of its new strategy, Brunotti plans to strengthen its position in Europe and expand into the Asian market through a strategic partnership with an Asian supplier. This new set-up brings valuable backward integration, raising product quality standards and delivering an even stronger lineup of high-performance products, while expanding the brand’s reach in Asia. "By integrating a strong production partner in our value chain, we can offer greater efficiency and more opportunities for growth to our (existing) distribution partners," explained van der Wind.

At the core of Brunotti’s business remains Brunotti Boards—a robust range of hardware and soft goods deeply connected to the brand’s roots in surf culture. "Our hardware and soft good collections keep us anchored in the surf industry, which has always been the soul of Brunotti," van der Wind continued. "It's a unique selling point that sets us apart from other brands." As Brunotti moves forward, the focus on rider-developed products will remain central, ensuring innovation and performance remain at the forefront.

Under its new leadership, Brunotti will continue its omni-channel strategy, focusing on wholesale, e-commerce, and new retail store openings. The brand’s year-round product offerings ensure Brunotti remains relevant across all seasons. "Surf and snow are and will continue to be key pillars of our business," remarked Bleekemolen. "But we are committed in becoming even more relevant year-round in both sports and leisure, ensuring we’re ready for every season, no matter the conditions."

The brand is positioned for significant growth. Jeroen van der Wind and Sven Bleekemolen are enthusiastic about the future, stating: "We are honored to lead Brunotti into this exciting new era. Leveraging our retail and industry expertise, we’re committed to push the brand even further, while staying true to Brunotti’s roots and values’’.

For over 40 years, Brunotti has been crafting high-quality hardware, outerwear, and accessories for the outdoor and leisure industry. As we embark on this next adventure, we commit to ensure you're ready for anything, #nomattertheconditions.
